I had made bread before three times and all those times the bread turned out either under cooked, had no taste or extremely hard. When I read what this month's challenge was i was quite apprehensive.
I followed the recipe step by step only omitting the wheat flour ( which I thought I had bought but apparently did not)...
I must admit the bread turned out surprisingly like a crusty french baguette. Crunchy on the out side but soft with bits of potatoes hidden.
Great recipe one for keeps!
